Harrogate Brew Co IRIS

Brewed to celebrate the birth of Iris and aptly name after her I put together this image in time to celebrate her 1st birthday.

Obviously lots of flowers was the choice for this and so I shopped in 3 local supermakets to see what they had and I bought a mixture of different bunches, babys breath or Gyp as it is known was a must and then I saw the purple fading to blue flowers and instantly knew these would be perfect to match the lilac colour of the can, add a few other pastel shade flowers and I knew this was going to be good.

Luckily for me my wife is a trained florist so she kindly wired up each individual stem so that I could place and position each flower head exactly where I wanted it by using a floral foam brick, I also wanted to make sure the text at the base of the can was kept visible as I felt this was important to do so.

A set of base images of the set was taken as the next stage was going to get water everywhere and ruin the flowers, throwing water about in varying techniques to capture to motion and drama, I was contemplating between using beer or water for this element but I think water works best here as it ties in nicely with the flowers and giving the feeling of a fresh and crisp beer which is exactly what it is.

In total this was a composite of about 4 or 5 images to get the final result
